Blake Estrada
Blake is a multi-genre upright | electric bassist and music director with 15+ years of experience, studying under Derek Oles (now of USC Thornton School of Music) among others while completing his BA at CSUN in jazz studies. With a focus on jazz, latin, and classical (also a lover of vintage, pop and indie), Blake has performed and recorded in some of the country’s most prestigious venues and studios, including Capitol Records, United Studios and Henson Studios.
In addition to performing, Blake is also a music director, booker, curator, and arranger. He music directs, arranges and performs with celebrity grammy-winning artists Tia Carrere and Mana, vintage pop vocalist Sergio Velatti, and notable LA indie vocalists Kinney and Nostalghia.
